The SDL MK22/MK55 is an integrated drone data link system that continues the design and usage style of the Maestro series wireless high-definition image transmission, with powerful functions and high integration. The ground end has a 1/4 screw opening, which can be installed on a universal tripod. Turning the tripod can achieve quick alignment with the aircraft. It has dual power supply mode, making it easy and fast to use. Supporting one click code matching and automatic encryption, users can connect the standard high-strength flexible cable to the ground station system to obtain the video and data of the drone, displaying it in a user-friendly manner, where what they see is what they get.
Integrated design, high degree of integration
The MK22/MK55 ground end has been upgraded again to achieve a five in one design of wireless high-definition image+data+SBUS control signal+antenna+receiving end. At the same time, a combination of flat panel antenna and omnidirectional fiberglass antenna is used. The high gain directional antenna can enhance signal strength and increase the anti-interference ability of the data link, with high integration and more stable transmission distance.
The receiving end comes with an OLED display screen, which can clearly indicate the current communication signal strength, signal quality, IP address, and uplink and downlink data information. Users can adjust the horizontal and vertical angles of the tablet antenna in real time, and determine the optimal alignment direction of the tablet antenna by observing the signal strength information on the OLED display screen, which is convenient to use.

The receiving end is equipped with a universal battery interface, which can quickly supply power to the device from the battery; The aviation plug-in cable integrates the ground side network port, serial port SBUS. The power supply and other interfaces are very easy to operate and can be quickly disassembled.
The ground end is equipped with a one click code matching button, which can achieve fast code matching without the need for additional software configuration or signal scanning pairing; At the same time, automatic encryption can be quickly achieved without the need for any external devices. Users can also enable/disable encryption functions through the MaestroAdjust tool or by accessing the webpage. After enabling encryption functions, users can customize their own private communication keys.
The SDL MK22/MK55 continues Maestro’s design and usage style, adopting a modular design (RF module, main control module, power module), with good circuit design and industrial thermal design. The sky end is small in size and light in weight, weighing only 150g, allowing the drone to move forward without a load during operation, improving operational efficiency.
SoarApex SDL MK22/MK55 has rich interfaces, including 2 serial ports – UART1&UART2. The serial ports support Mavlink protocol and Transparent protocol, and users can configure the serial port protocol and baud rate through the Maestro Assistant tool or Web UI. With two SBUS input and output interfaces, users can use them to transmit remote control signals and also connect to mounted control devices.
