Step 1: System Integration & Pre-Flight

Step 2: HD Visible Light Inspection

Operating at high altitude, the UAV inspected insulator integrity with SIYI ZT30 30x optical zoom and 180x hybrid zoom capabilities. The 4K sensor delivered crisp imagery that revealed dirt accumulation, rusted counterweights, damaged insulators, and displaced vibration dampers.

Step 3: Infrared Thermal Analysis

Using UniGCS’s split-screen EO/IR imaging with linked zoom, the team examined temperature conditions at critical points across the tower structure. The 640×512 IR sensor with 6x digital zoom enabled precise thermal profiling of tension clamp lead plates and connection points.

Three temperature measurement modes — point, area, and global — provided comprehensive thermal data. No abnormal heating was detected, confirming structural integrity. This SIYI ZT30 dual-sensor approach ensures no thermal anomalies escape detection, significantly reducing missed fault rates.
