On January 28, sixteen H1 humanoid robots from Unitree captivated the audience with their performance of “YangBot” at the China Media Group’s Snake Year Spring Festival Gala. Directed by Zhang Yimou, the act seamlessly blended technology with folk traditions, creating a moment where futurism meets heritage. Following its broadcast, the performance transcended cultural boundaries, sparking a nationwide wave of technological enthusiasm.

On May 25, Unitree hosted the world’s first humanoid robot combat competition based on its G1 humanoid robot — marking a new milestone in human history.

On July 25, Unitree released the intelligent companion — the humanoid robot R1. Ultra-lightweight and fully customizable at around 25 kg, R1 integrates voice and images large multimodal models, accelerating the arrival of the intelligent agent era.

On August 5, Unitree launched the quadruped robot A2, weighing around 37 kg. It can walk continuously for 3 hours (12.5 km) with full load, and 5 hours (20 km) without load — lighter, faster, and stronger, redefining a new paradigm for industry applications.

From August 14 to 17, the first World Humanoid Robot Games were successfully held in Beijing. Unitree won four gold medals (1500 m, 400 m, 100 m obstacle race, and 4×100 m relay), ranking first in both the gold and overall medal tallies. The Unitree H1 achieved a top speed of 5+ m/s. In addition, independent teams using Unitree’s G1 hardware platform won 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal.

On October 20, Unitree unveiled the H2 humanoid robot — standing 180 cm tall and weighing 70 kg, equipped with bionic dual-eye cameras and a bionic face, designed to serve people safely and with friendliness.
